Master in Big Data Science in Poland, Warsaw

The program is designed for students interested in big data analysis in finance. It introduces students to the analytical side of businesses, in regards to using the data for financial analysis. From the first semester on, students will work with mentors from both university and international companies to solve real-life cases of our business partners. The emphasis is put on attaining cuttingedge and in-depth understanding of tools and technologies applied in big data, in addition to building a solid financial foundation. Students are encouraged to expand their knowledge within areas of interest by selecting elective courses, not only in finance but also in theoretical or practical quantitative research and programming – data science. Students can tailor the studies to their own needs as half of the program consists of electives.

 

Additionally, all of the students will have the opportunity to participate in an exchange program, during which they study at one of our numerous partner universities around the globe. On top of that, the students will engage in multiple intense projects in which they will directly work hand-in-hand with our industry experts, completing their studies with a trainee program in the last semester. The program is built around the needs of the industry and will be revised on the basis of continuing feedback loops. Our partners include many international companies from the areas of finance, consulting and IT.

Kozminski University, founded in 1993, is a private institution of higher education with full academic rights. The university has obtained Polish and international accreditations, as well as excellent results in global and national educational rankings, which shows the high quality of its programs and services. KU holds the rights to award doctoral degrees in the following disciplines: management, economics, finance, sociology and law. As the only private higher education institution in Poland, it has the power to authorize a higher Ph.D. degree (habilitation degree) in the discipline of management, law and economics.
