ESG auditing is the process of systematically analysing the performance and practices of different organisations in the context of assessing their performance on environmental (Environmental), corporate social responsibility (Social) and corporate governance (Governance). An ESG audit assesses the extent to which companies’ activities comply with sustainability standards and evaluates their impact on various stakeholders, including employees, the local community of customers, investors, and the planet and its ecosystems. The Master’s degree programme in Sustainability Analytics and Audit is recommended primarily to graduates of at least a bachelor’s degree in social sciences, mainly in economics, finance management and accounting, who wish to gain specialist knowledge of sustainability strategy, ESG and CSR, green finance, and above all – practical skills for its implementation, reporting and evaluation. Students who choose the ESG Audit specialisation as part of their major will focus on learning about financial and non-financial reporting, auditing and business analytics in its various aspects – from environmental impact analysis of investments to financial controlling to ESG audit and risk management.
