Our University is 27 years old! Our story began in 1997, and its founders were members of the regional Wrocław branch of the Society for the Popularization of Culture and Science. The academy of their dreams was different from the ones they knew. Approachable, enabling the pursuit of scientific and research passions, creating a community of mentors and students, friendly and full of ambition.

In the following years, the dreams turned into a dynamically developing educational center with a permanent and relevant spot on the academic map of Lower Silesia. For many years we have been occupying the best place among non-public universities. In Perspektywy monthly 2022 ranking, we have landed number one in Lower Silesia!

DSW University of Lower Silesia is one of the most important academic centers in Wrocław and the entire Lower Silesia region. Every year we educate over 8,000 students. We have been the best among nonpublic universities for 17 years.
