At the beginning of January 2025, Poland assumed the presidency of the Council of the European Union for the second time

At the beginning of January 2025, Poland assumed the presidency of the Council of the European Union for the second time. For the next six months, our country will become the centre of EU politics and will host several hundred official meetings, as well as informal councils with EU ministers. 
Since 2004, Poland has been part of the European Union. We are grateful for the years spent in the EU that are behind us and excited for the years ahead!
