Our undergraduate Psychology Program includes courses that allow students to develop a deep understanding of core areas in psychology, including social psychology, cognitive psychology, personality psychology, psychology of emotion and motivation, and psychology of individual differences. They also learn about practical applications of psychological research in the fields of psychopathology, clinical and health psychology, work and organizational psychology, educational psychology, and cross-cultural psychology.

Theoretical courses are complemented with classes teaching practical skills, indispensable in psychological research, such as methodology, statistics and psychometrics as well as competencies needed in human interactions, such as basic psychological skills, personal skills and the ability to work in groups. Additionally during each academic year, students participate in at least one project-based course, which provides them with an opportunity to apply previously-acquired knowledge in a more practical manner, for example by working on a group research project.

Requirements: English proficiency - CEFR B2, IELTS min. 6 pts. certificates issued by University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate, the British Council and Education Australia.For holders of a Polish secondary school diploma (matura): basic level – minimum 90%, extended level – minimum 60%.

Over twenty years ago, three eminent Polish psychologists had a vision of creating the best  higher education institution in Poland, grounded in psychology. This vision provided a strong foundation for building unique study programs that incorporate human-centered approach not only into psychology, but also to all our programs, including business, management, law, media and communication, and design. This is what makes SWPS University stand out and what provides our graduates with skills that are indispensable in today’s fast changing labor market.

SWPS University offers 14 undergraduate and graduate programs in English. Students may choose programs in English Studies, English studies with additional language (Chinese, Japanese, Russian, German and Spanish), Psychology, Management and Design Studies at the School of Form in Warsaw. 

SWPS University has signed close to 90 exchange agreements with numerous higher education institutions, including many EU countries, Great Britain, Island, Israel, Norway, and Turkey. Students of SWPS University have an opportunity to complete part of their studies at one of our partner universities in the United States, such as Detroit Mercy University, Sungshin Univeristy and Konkuk University in Seoul in South Korea and with the Capital Normal University in Beijing, Chongqing University of Technology, and Tianjin Normal University in China.
