The European Universities initiative is a EU program designed to create partnerships between higher education institutions throughout Europe, with the goal of benefiting students, staff, and society. It is mainly funded through the Erasmus+ program.
Currently, the European Universities network includes 64 international consortia, which unite over 560 higher education institutions from across Europe. In the 2024 intake, 9 Polish universities have joined new alliances as part of the European Universities initiative.
On this list we can find, inter alia: University of Warsaw, Warsaw University of Technology and University of Wrocław.
